One of my favorite assignments was working for an auction firm here in Chicago. When you photograph antiques and collectibles, you receive an education every day. On this day, the account executives from the auction house asked me to accompany them to the home of a client. The 4-sided couch in the center was up for sale. It is known as a 'confidente.'
