Yani posed for me a long time ago, when I first learned how to really
control light. The heart on her chest is just the flash from
a
strobe, shot through a piece of cut cardboard.
I
loved this shot so much that I've tried to reproduce it several times.
Each time I've fallen short of this photo. Sometimes
a
photo is just a moment in time, never to be repeated.
A life lesson, I guess.
